da bet7: Wolves youngster Benny Ashley-Seal struggled as the club drew 0-0 with Manchester United in the FA Cup on Saturday.
On the chalkboard
da poker: Prior to a game that was largely devoid of incident, Nuno Espirito Santo made a couple of changes at Molineux.
Ashley-Seal made three appearances in the EFL Cup prior to the clash with United, totaling 39 minutes.
The 21-year-old started on Saturday but he failed to make any sort of tangible impact.
Per WhoScored, he had just 11 touches of the ball in his 45 minutes on the pitch and he attempted just four passes, completing three.
He did not have a shot on goal despite playing as the central striker, nor did he complete a dribble or win an aerial duel.
Ashley-Seal also failed to make a tackle and was dispossessed once.
As impressions go, this was a remarkably poor one from the striker.
It’s the dawn of a new decade in the Premier League, but how much do you know about the last 10 years?
Still young
At the age of 21, Ashley-Seal has time on his side and he is likely to have a number of chances to play under Nuno.
However, the performance here was not one to inspire confidence in his future prospects.
He has scored 20 goals in 37 games for the U23s but he could well struggle to make the jump to senior level.
It is difficult to make quick judgements – this was a terrible game of football that was played at a pedestrian pace – but the omens are not good for the youngster.
He has no option but to make the most of his next chance, whenever it may arrive.
Meanwhile, Wolves desperately need to make a signing in one position.
