da realsbet: Troy Parrott will not be involved in Tottenham Hotspur’s Champions League clash against RB Leipzig on Wednesday as the striker is “not ready”.
da dobrowin: Those were the words uttered by Jose Mourinho when questioned whether there could be an opportunity for the 18-year-old due to Heung-min Son’s injury blow.
Parrott has only played twice for Tottenham’s first team this season, with one of those outings coming against Burnley in the Premier League on December 7.
It appears the teenager will not be included against Leipzig, though, and some of the club’s fans are finding that decision tough to take due to the team’s issues in attack.
Not all of the Tottenham supporters disagree with Mourinho’s words, though.
No clues whatsoever: Which seasons do these iconic Spurs images belong to?
Parrott, who made his debut for the Republic of Ireland in the latter stages of 2019, has a brilliant record at Under-18 level, scoring 17 times in 14 appearances, but it is some jump to the first team.
Another fan claimed that he was “amazed” that Parrott signed a new contract with the club earlier this month when considering his lack of action.
Meanwhile, a number of the Tottenham fans had this to say on the recent transfer speculation surrounding Harry Winks.
