da jogodeouro: Southampton fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Che Adams, after Ralph Hasenhuttl made a telling substitution in the dying embers of the 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday.
da apostebet: The former RB Leipzig manager decided to withdraw Shane Long – who received huge praise from these supporters for his performance – in place of Michael Obafemi in the 82nd minute of proceedings at Villa Park, ahead of Adams who was left on the bench.
Incidentally, the £15m summer signing did eventually come on for two-goal hero Danny Ings in the 86th minute, although that gave the former Birmingham man just a few minutes plus stoppage time to do anything – continuing what has become somewhat of a consistent theme over the past few weeks.
Before Saturday’s 3-1 win, Hasenhuttl had afforded his marquee summer signing just 29 minutes over the course of the last five Premier League outings – Adams was given two minutes against Manchester City, nine against Everton, 13 against Norwich, two against Newcastle and three against West Ham before the win over Villa.

It is clear that the 23-year-old isn’t high up in the Austrian boss’ thinking right now, and after Obafemi was subbed on ahead of him, some Southampton fans were sparked into a discussion.
One fan named Aaron said that the decision to bring Obafemi on first showed everyone what Hasenhuttl truly thinks of Adams, and also displays “how little he rates him”.
Another supporter thinks that Hasenhuttl’s decision must’ve left Adams “fuming” and also revealed that they think the big-money signing has been treated poorly – The Saint Centre also stated that they’d be concerned if he was loaned out.
Elsewhere, these two supporters also began thinking about the transfer window following Hasenhuttl’s telling substitution.
The first of the pair said that “maybe Che is off after all” when reacting to the tweet revealing Obafemi’s introduction, whereas another echoed that thought when also replying to the Saints’ tweet.
Lastly, this duo questioned Hasenhuttl’s decision.
One fan simply asked “over Adams?” after hearing of the switch, whereas another expressed confusion over the Austrian’s decision to “permanently bench” the English striker.
