da blaze casino: Summer 2017 was arguably the most ridiculous transfer window of all time. The Premier League shelled out a staggering £1.4billion between all twenty clubs as price-tags practically doubled from the year previous, leading to some very, very dubious deals for some incredibly average players.
da jogodeouro: Liverpool’s spend was just over the £80million mark, bringing in Dominic Solanke, Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andrew Robertson, a rather modest total compared to some of their divisional rivals – partly because they missed out on two huge transfer targets in Virgil van Dijk and Thomas Lemar.
That perhaps explains why so many Liverpool fans have been left disappointed by the club’s efforts during the summer. Indeed, we asked Reds supporters last week whether they’re happy with their club’s dealings in the transfer market and although the majority voted yes in our poll, an incredibly significant 49% didn’t.
So, Anfield faithful, who do you blame for a summer that appears to have divided the fan-base? Jurgen Klopp, the owners, the transfer committee or someone else? Let us know by commenting below…
