The Sarajevo born hitman had a slow start to his time in England following a £28 million transfer in January, but has stated that he never lost confidence in himself.
“Of course I always had a lot of confidence in myself. I wasn’t 100 per cent fit at the beginning when I joined the club in January and now I feel much better. I feel stronger. Now we will see. I want to play even better in the next game,” Dzeko stated.
“I think the last time I scored four I was playing in Germany, we played in the cup against a side in the third division, but this was something special for me. To score four goals in one match in the Premier League is fantastic.
“I think we are getting better and better. Hopefully we can continue to improve in each one of our next games and try to win them all,” he concluded.
Dzeko has had a blistering start to the season, scoring six goals in City’s first three league games.
