da 888casino: Crystal Palace should make a clever move for Rennes’ young goalscorer Jordan Siebatcheu, who seems to find the back of the net every time he plays for the French side at the moment.
What’s the word, then?
Following the Boxing Day draw to Cardiff, the Eagles haven’t seen a recognised striker score a goal for them from open play in almost a year, since Christian Benteke’s header at the London Stadium back in January. They have struggled to score goals for a while now and found the back of the net just 17 times in their first 19 league games – it is telling that their top scorer is Luka Milivojevic with just five goals to his name, four of those from the penalty spot.
If Roy Hodgson is to enjoy a successful second half to the season, then he must prioritise a move for an efficient goalscorer in January to put away the barrage of chances that his side are currently creating. In the stalemates at Selhurst Park against Newcastle and Cardiff this season, Palace had 46 shots and still failed to find the net.

Making chances isn’t a problem, they just need someone to finish them off.
Why should they sign Siebatcheu?
The 22-year-old has struggled for game time with Rennes so far this season, but has still managed to score four goals in just seven starts. Given the fact that he doesn’t play too much with the Ligue 1 club, Palace could perhaps snap up a shrewd signing who wouldn’t cost too much, has the ceiling to get better and looks like he takes his chances when called upon.
The Frenchman is a clinical finisher, as well as a bit of a powerhouse with his 6′ 2″ frame which causes a few problems for defenders. Should he arrive at Selhurst Park, he could well save the south London club from relegation to the Championship.
