Inter Miami CF have completed the signing of Mateo Silvetti, one of Argentina’s brightest U20 prospects, from Newell’s Old Boys. The forward joins on a contract running until the end of the 2029 MLS season, with an additional option for 2030, and will be registered under the MLS U-22 initiative once his International Transfer Certificate and visa are processed.

Silvetti came through the youth system at Newell’s and broke into the first team in 2024. Since his debut, he has featured in 37 matches, tallying six goals and two assists in all competitions.
Internationally, the Rosario native has already made an impact with Argentina’s U20 national team, scoring once in three appearances under the management of Javier Mascherano, now his coach at Inter Miami.
