da heads bet: Mauricio Pochettino must drop Moussa Sissoko for the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday after the Frenchman’s dreadful performance in the draw at Brighton.
da bet7: Tottenham fans were left infuriated by their side’s lacklustre performance at Brighton on Tuesday, and Moussa Sissoko in particular has taken plenty of stick.
The signing of Sissoko back in 2016 raised plenty of eyebrows despite his 53 France caps, and the 28 year-old has done little to win over the fans since his arrival.
Pochettino is clearly a fan of the Frenchman, as he has 30 Premier League appearances this season, but he was shocking in the 1-1 draw with Brighton.
Sissoko played as part of a midfield two with Victor Wanyama, and did manage 83 touches and an impressive 91% pass accuracy.
However, the Frenchman made no tackles, made just one key pass, and did not complete a single dribble.

When trying to break down deep-lying teams, the midfielders have to be able to pick a dangerous pass here and there, and with Wanyama doing most of the defending Sissoko must take responsibility for some of the more adventurous passing in to the front four.
On top of that, for a player of his speed and raw power to touch the ball 83 times and not complete a single dribble is shocking, as beating the first man off the dribble is a great way to beat packed defences.
Sissoko sees a lot of the ball but doesn’t really do anything with it, and fans will surely be hoping it was just a rotational move to start him on Tuesday.
