According to The Mirror, the Merseyside outfit intend to offer the defender a new and improved contract with a significant wage increase as a reward for his performances.
Gomez – valued at £25.2m by Transfermarkt – is regarded as a mainstay for the future, and judging by the response to the news on Reddit, Liverpool fans are keen for the young star to commit.
