da heads bet: A number of Aston Villa fans have called for Robert Snodgrass to return to the club in this summer’s transfer window.
Snodgrass spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Villa, finding the back of the net on seven occasions in 43 appearances before returning to parent club West Ham United.
The 6 ft attacker has been in decent form for the Hammers this term, scoring four times and providing nine assists in 35 games in all competitions.
The 31-year-old will see his contract at the London Stadium expire next summer, though, and his long-term future with the capital outfit is far from secure.
The conversation all started when Snodgrass responded to a tweet from John McGinn, who starred in Villa’s 2-1 win at Rotherham United on Wednesday night.
