He has since gone on to make 198 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing nine assists in that time.
However, his long stay at St Mary’s appears to be coming to an end and according to Romano it looks as though he could be on the move. It remains to be seen whether the Saints and the Serie A club can get this deal over the line in time, however.
