da betway: Tottenham Hotspur fans have been laying into right-back Kyle Walker-Peters this week for his comments on former boss Mauricio Pochettino.
da brwin: The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Southampton, where he has been speaking to their official website.
He said:
“I think had he stayed, I’d still be at Tottenham. He was never really big on loans. There were always opportunities for him to send me on loan and he never did, so I think that showed his faith in me.
“Despite not playing me all the time, it showed that he wanted me around. If he hadn’t left, I don’t think I’d be on loan, so it just shows how fast football can change.”
And it’s caused many, many supporters to blast him on Twitter for making such remarks.
Here’s what has been said…
Many were quick to question his comments, claiming it was “very strange” and that he was “delusional” for even saying it.
The youngster came through the system at the north London side and made his professional league debut where he won the Man of the Match award against Newcastle United during the 2017/18 season.
Walker-Peters went on to play a further 23 times for the club, scoring once and assisting five goals, via Transfermarkt.

It has led to others suggesting that the right-back isn’t good enough for Spurs, even claiming that regularly-touted ‘liability’ Serge Aurier is a better option.
Some fans would even like to see Jose Mourinho sack off the defender entirely, asking to sell him at the next opportunity whilst one supporter believed that these comments hinted that there would be no further future for Walker-Peters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Who on earth is that?!?! Can you name all of these obscure January signings?
AND in other news, Spurs would pull off major coup by landing this Serie A STAR…
